Frequently asked questions

No. Independent brokerages like Frontier are compensated directly by the insurance carriers, not by you. That means our comparison shopping, guidance and enrollment support are completely free, whether you're an individual, a family or an employer.
Medicare Advantage (Part C) bundles your hospital, medical and often drug coverage into one plan through a private carrier, usually with a network and lower monthly premiums. Medicare Supplement (Medigap) works alongside Original Medicare to cover the gaps — like copays and coinsurance — with more flexibility to see any provider who accepts Medicare, typically for a higher monthly premium. Which one fits depends on your health needs, budget and how much flexibility matters to you — we'll walk through both with you.
IUL is a type of permanent life insurance that builds cash value tied to the performance of a market index (like the S&P 500), with a floor that protects you from losing value when the market drops. It combines lifelong death benefit protection with the potential for tax-free growth — but it's a more complex product than term life, and it isn't the right fit for everyone. We'll help you understand honestly whether it fits your goals and timeline before recommending it.
Term life covers you for a set period (10, 20 or 30 years) at the lowest cost — a good fit if you need coverage while raising a family or paying off a mortgage. Whole life lasts your entire life and builds guaranteed cash value, at a higher premium — a better fit for lifelong dependents or estate planning. There's no single right answer; it depends on what you're protecting and for how long. Our 4-question assessment can point you in the right direction in under a minute.
We're licensed in Washington, Oregon, California, Arizona, Michigan, Utah and Texas — and growing. If you're in one of those states, we can help with your coverage.
Sometimes. A qualifying life event — losing job-based coverage, getting married, having a baby, moving — opens a Special Enrollment Period for ACA Marketplace plans. Outside of that, short-term health coverage can bridge the gap. We'll help you figure out what you qualify for right now.
Yes — we work with employers to compare group medical, dental and vision plans across carriers, at no cost to the business. See our Group Coverage section on the homepage, or reach out and we'll put together options for your team.
